Hi, I’m Hasan Shabbir. I’m your regular 19 year old, but only with a few distinctions that I’ve been working in cybersecurity for a few years. I got started pretty young, actually earning my CEH at 16 and CompTIA Security+ at 17, along with several other certifications that, for professional and OPSEC (Operational Security) reasons, remain primarly between me and my employers
Early on, when i began as a kid, i was drawn to hacking from a more rebellious, ideology-driven mindset, but once I got deeper into it, I realized I’d rather protect systems than break them for no real grounds. looking back at those times now, I regret messing with things without purpose. that realization sort of pushed me towards the ethical side early on ~ and I’m really glad I made that decision.
Since then, I’ve mostly worked on blue teams, helping companies respond to incidents and strengthen their security. Circa 2022 to mid-2024, I was working with Comcast Solutions as a Remote Cybersecurity Engineer, before stepping away for personal & academic reasons. after that, I interned with several organizations, both local and international, which helped me expand my skills further and support systems that needed better protection.
Putting my technical skills aside, I love to express myself through art, be it the words or rhythms, I am often producing, composing, and writing songs across ambient, indie pop, electronic, and alternative genres. Most of my tracks are unreleased, but I intend to release them in future. I've a long withstanding connection to music since I was a kid & as I grew up, music became a sort of sanctuary for me, especially after the loss of my father, It helped me process & release grief and emotions by great means. Since then, it has became a form of self-therapy for me.
I also enjoy jotting down my personal life into random alphabetical scribbles on most days, and deep down, I somehow still aspire to grow as an Author in future.
